Main Topic : Interviewing champions of English competition in different fields (Storytelling,
speech, spelling bee, debate, poetry, writing essay, news casting)
Description : Students interview winners of certain championship. The winners are students’ seniors in the same school.
Level : Students of senior high school, first year.
Skills Focus : Speaking, writing, listening, reading.
Objectives : Students will be able to do a good interview by asking appropriate questions
and manners in order to get useful information from the interviewee.
Duration : 3 meetings, each meeting 90 minutes.
1. First Meeting
Topic : Introducing good or bad interview session through videos.
Description : Teacher shows videos of interview session in different ways. Teacher also introduces podcast and weblog to the students to support their tasks in the next following activities.
Level : Students of senior high school, first year.
Skills Focus : Listening, reading.
Objectives : - Students will be able to differ a good interview session then later, students are expected to be able to do a good interview session.
- Students will be able to post their assignments in podcasts and weblog.
Duration : 1 meetings, each meeting 90 minutes.
Materials needed: LCD, PC, videos, podcat and weblog
