Description  : Activities for appreciating Mother’s Day 
Objectives   :

1. Students will be able to express their appreciation to their mothers
2. Students will be able to write descriptive text in a blog
3. Students will be able to describe how their mother looks like using adjectives
4. Students will be able to retell a story about special moment with their mothers

Language Focus: Vocabulary, Descriptive text, Confidence in speaking

Non-language Focus: Appreciation of Mother’s Day

Level     : Intermediate level (grade XI) of Senior High School, first semester

Medias    : Podcast, Realia, Video, LCD, Laptop, Whiteboard, Markers
 

   Podcast

1)  Teacher asks students about what they know about podcast

2)  Teacher plays a podcast with a theme about someone else’s moment with their mother

3)   Teacher asks few students related to the podcast:

·        What is the speaker talking about?

·        How do they describe their mom?
